Caramel Corn (Crunchy Kind)
from Bonnie

5 quarts popped corn

Melt over medium heat:
1 c butter
2 c brown sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 tsp salt
Cook until 245 F or soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 tsp baking soda. Drizzle over popcorn and toss well. Cook in a 250 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes stirring every 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.
